“Is it a course?”
“Is it a program?”
“Is it a bright red button that will magically solve all my problems without me having to lift a finger or do any work whatsoever?”
(Spoiler alert: the answer to that last one is a definitive “No.”)
So, without further ado, allow me to paint a quick picture of what Therapy Practice Accelerator is.

By this point I’ve personally worked with over 1,000 therapists and other wellness practice owners from all over the United States.
But when I started, I was a therapy client who happened to offer the valuable perspective of what it’s like to search for a therapist – which, if you’ve never tried it before, is for some reason a uniquely unpleasant experience.
I’d searched for therapists a few times in my life – during college at Stanford in the Bay Area, during my early 20’s when I was living in Brooklyn, New York, and then in my 30’s when I was looking for a therapist back home in Nashville, Tennessee.
I value therapy, and I have benefited immensely from therapy in my life.
So, it felt like a natural fit when the first therapist reached out to me for help.
I helped him with a few odds and ends related to his practice’s website and marketing, so he referred me to a therapist friend of his.
I helped that next therapist as well.
And very quickly, I was immersed in a network of therapists who were all requesting my help.
I certainly helped, and in all sorts of ways. One therapist just needed a little tweak to her website. Another needed a full-scale redesign. Another needed technical help with her computer and formatting her forms. Another wanted to get set up for doing teletherapy.
But it wasn’t until I was able to implement my full skillset from top to bottom, start to finish with one particular therapist that I realized I had a system that would work for any therapist anywhere who is serious about growing a successful practice.

I learned early on that by far the best way to help therapists understand what we do was to get on the phone and first share with us how their practice works, who they see, in what format, at what price points, in what area, with what future vision for where they’d like their practice to grow.
